This Park is the brainchild of Maria Robinson who wanted to share with others what she had found out in Tomball, TX. It’s an escape for city folks: a place where they can walk barefoot on the grass, where kids can run around and play without worrying about traffic speeding by or sirens blaring.
It’s a 30-acre park that has enough to offer for everyone with its three playgrounds, picnic areas with grills, nature & paddle trails, open fields, disc golf course and there are plans of adding a dog park and a community center. This Park has it all and the best part is that you only have to pay $1 per person to get in.
Neighborhood Park is a public park in Spring TX and offers the community an array of amenities such as shade structures (for picnics), picnic tables (for picnics), barbecue grills (for picnics), benches, a fishing pier/jetty, boat launch ramp, paved parking lot with designated parking spaces for boats and trailers, a dog park (for dogs) and a building with restrooms.
Neighborhood Park also has two playgrounds, multiple trails of both dirt and paved options that are great for walking/biking, trees of all sizes consistent with oak trees, ample vegetation overall. The nature trail, in the beginning, is stunning with its hanging trees that that form a canopy above your head. You can just imagine yourself sitting there sipping a cool drink and enjoying life. The grass is kept green throughout the year, no matter what time of year it is. All you have to do is look down at your feet when walking on the grass…it’s so soft!
When you arrive at the park, the first thing you will notice is how clean it is. There isn’t any trash laying on the ground.
